About the Producer
Having purchased from Rodolfo for three years, his natural and anaerobic processing is consistently a hit. After serving in the army for 8 years, Rodolfo decided to buy a plot of land (just ½ a hectare).
After invaluable help from a friend in his village, Rodolfo and his wife began producing coffee, building the size of the farm up to what it is today. In 2011, the entire farm was devastated by Roya, but Rodolfo did not give up. He persisted and replanted with IH90, a rust-resistant variety. Today, with support from his sons, Los Robles looks healthy, and the coffees taste amazing. Big, sweet cups, low on ferment taste, but high on candy sweetness.
