About the Producer
Misael was born and raised on the family farm "Las Delicias", which spans five hectares. Since taking over management of the farm from his father, Misael and his wife Daisy have begun focusing their energy on specialty coffee production.
They grow Caturra, Colombia and Bourbon varietals, and are passionately refining their post-collection processing methods, including how to utilise prolonged fermentations.
In addition to growing coffee, Misael is an extremely handy builder with a side business building "garruchas", cable cars used to transport supplies and coffee harvests from one side of a steep mountainside farm to another.
Fellow members of the CRECERT association also use his garruchas, and he can often be found volunteering in the association lab.
